Mt. St. Helens: September 2011

Rick and Susan at Mount Saint Helens as Rick led many High School Students from Idaho, Candle Light Fellowship, and taught them at the sight of the devastation that occurred in the May 18, 1980 eruption that killed a fellow scientist, Dave Johnson, along with 57 other people. Rick was nearly killed as he was in a helicopter 5 minutes from the mountain when it erupted. .
