Fruit from our labors

Here are a few quotes from students and individuals we have met along the way:
This one is from a High School Junior who attended the youth camp in Omaha, NE.: I would like to say thank you. I may not look like it or act like it but I’m always thinking scientifically which, thanks to the school system, have started to believe in the Theory of Evolution. But thanks to you (Pete) and Rick I have come back to believing that God is the creator of all things.
This same student later wrote and said he is sharing the new found info from Rick’s and Pete’s lectures with his friends at school and in his Sunday school class, and wants to continue his studies so he can go out like Rick and Pete are to share with more people that God’s Word is true from Genesis 1:1 to the end of Revelation.
Another couple said they gave Rick’s DVD to their neighbor whose husband is an atheist. He has been listening with great interest and wants more information.
This coming week Rick and Pete will speak at Horizon Christian Fellowship and their Christian School (6th grade-High School age) and Bible College and people in the Indianapolis area.
As you may have heard on the news, 27 of the states have given up their rights to the school curriculum and ratified the National standards for their curriculum and 12 other states have said they will ratify soon. Only two states (TX, and VA) have said they will not. This is one of the most significant moves made since our nation’s beginning as the states have never given up their rights before. It has to do with the need for federal funds to keep the schools open. Rick has been talking about the National Science standards in his lectures since they were written in 1999, but no one seemed to think this could possibly happen, but it has.
Thank you for your friendship, prayers and support. Things seem to be moving rapidly, but the Lord is truly opening hearts as we “go.”
