Rick’s Speaking Tour

We are now at the Home of our dear friends The Pearce Family Bluegrass Band. We are spending time just hanging out with Doub and Traci while we unwind from speaking at Calvary Chapel San Jose. God has blessed both Susan and I by the friendship of Senior Pastor Mike McClure and Associate Pastor Brad Wood as well as the entire staff. I have already received several e-mails confirming the great response to the Sunday night lecture. I was able to respond to the latest article involving the so called 47 million year old fossil “Link” to humans from primitive primates called Lemurs. This fossil find is being called the greatest find in fossil history, some have even called it the eighth wonder of the world. I even watched a National Geographic special last night with my friend Doub Pearce. The special consisted of the same old repettion of suspect dating and non-specific details by the Scientist that bought the fossil that had been preserved some sort of laminate and stored for over 25 years in a drawer by a private fossil collector. There was no mention of all the other scientists that disagree with the conclusions of Dr Hurum and his team. And there certainly was no mention of any details on how they arrived at the 47 million year old date. As usual it was much ado about nothing.
We started this speaking tour in Oroville California on the 12th of May with  FLW Outdoors Professional bass fishing tour and made stops along the way at Mount Hermon Christian Conference center and spent time with our friends Senior Pastor of True Life Christian Fellowship Eric Reinstedt and his family. Eric and his wife Maryann have been our soul mates and have been very instrumental in getting this Ministry started. We also had the pleasure of meeting with many members of the Church while there.We are so Blessed to have so many people from this church praying for us and supporting this Ministry financialy. I then met with a group of Pastors from the Paso Robles area and spoke at a men’s breakfast while there. We are concluding this trip by stopping in Orange County to visit with friends and family.
